Empowerment Tansania
We are a non-profit association for sustainable development in Tanzania, based in Berlin. Through sponsorships, we provide children, youth, and adults from low-income families access to school, vocational training, and further education.
At the same time, within the framework of development cooperation, we support local projects, schools, and organizations that sustainably improve educational and living conditions on site.
Opening Opportunities – Enabling Futures
In many families, there is not enough money for school fees, learning materials, or further education. We promote access to education for children, youth, and adults from low-income backgrounds – through sponsorships, scholarships, and targeted educational support.
We support school attendance, vocational training, and continuing education alike, guiding young people on their path toward a self-determined future.
Shaping Development Through Partnership
Sustainable development begins with collaboration on an equal footing. We support schools, kindergartens, and local NGOs in East Africa in creating learning spaces, expanding educational offerings, and strengthening social structures in the long term.
Our project support includes measures such as expanding schools and training centers, professional development for teachers, access to water and infrastructure, and the empowerment of local organizations.
